Fable goes missing for 30 minutes, wallet has feelings

What landed
@ClaudeDevs resolved an issue where Fable was not selectable as a model within claude.ai or Claude Code for a 30 minute period. Users may need to restart Claude Code and reselect with /model if Fable is not the default afterward.
In the same thread, they added: if you had extra usage turned on, you may have been overcharged. Affected users get refunded credits plus an additional credit equal to how much they were charged.
Why it matters
Short outages are small until billing joins. Selectability bugs are product slop: the capability exists, the UI ghosted it.
